ANOTHER IRISH PROBLEM
THEJPOLICEMEN'S UNION, (Rec. June 9, 8.50 p.m.) London, June S. The "Daily Neiys'is" Dublin' correspondent says that the Dublin Government is seriously preoccupied with the of the union of polico and prison officials. The union includes among its members upwards of a thousand men of the Royal Irish Constabulary. The Irish section of the union demands pay and conditions of sorvico equal to those in England; also tho disarmament and demilitarisation of the Constabulary. The Government is likely to stamp vigorously upon tho disarmament agitation.—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
