THE WEATHER
FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY, Present indications aro for southerly windo veering to westerlies aud then increasing strong to gale. The weather is likely to bccomo warmer temporarily in the East Coast districts, but an unfavourable chaugo may be expected everywhere shortly, and rain soon in the West Coast and southernmost districts. Barometer fall after about sixteen hours, and probably low in the south. A disturbance has been located south pf New Zealand, but atmosphorio pressuro has contained high in the north. Moderate to strong westerly and southerly winds have prevailed, and the lyeather has been changeable generally with passing showers in the western districts. D. 0. BATES, , Director.
