STATEMENT- IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS. London, May 27 (delayed). Replying to a question in the House of Commons respecting tho Shipping Conference's rebates proposals,. Mr. Leslie Wilson, Parliamentary Secretary to tho Ministry of Shipping, said tho rebate system was of long standing. Ho was unaware that any now method had been recently introduced into the system. It was considered some years ago by a Royal Commission, which did not recommend its prohibition during the war—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn.
