NEGRO BOXER KILLED
KNOCKED DOWN BY AMERICAN IN PARIS. (Roc. Juno 8, 11.5 p.m.) Paris, May 29. The Dixie Kid, the well-known negro boxer, was killed in a cafo on a boulevard on Sunday. Ho had been drinking heavily, staggered against an American olficcr! and mado an insulting remark. The officer knocked the Dixie Kid down twice, and on being picked up ho was found to bo dead.—Aus.-N.Z. Oablo Assn.
