AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT. (Rec. June 4, 5.5 p.m.) London, June 3. Official.—Lord Inverforth (Ministry of Munitions) has sent Mr..M»ssey an interesting statement regarding the freight arrangements for New Zealand wool. He tjtates: "Since February wo have had an Agreement -with the liners to carry all the wool required for tho United Kingdom and France up lo December 31 of this year, at the (very favourable Tate of 1 5-Sd. Four or live months hence the time will come to make arrangements foi the 1920 freight requirements, in justice to New Zealand sheen farmers, who have a heavy interest ill the profits on resale of wool. The Ministry of Munitions will, of course, feel obliged to secure the lowest possible freight for wool which can be obtained from ships under the British flag."-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
