Influenza continues to increase its hold both in tho city and country districts. Up to Monday 659.1 cases had been reported in the metropolitan area, and 2113 in the country. Since Saturday there have been over forty deaths, including nine in the country.—Press Assn. QUARANTINED FOOTBALLERS RELEASED. • (Reo. June 4, 11.15 p.m.) Melbourne, June 4. The New Zealand footballers have been released from quarantine, and have departed for Sydney.—Press Assn.
