—. * MEETING 01? MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The executive-of the Wellington Football Association met last evening. Mr. AV. Auld presided, and present were Messrs. J. Ferguson, H. Yeoman, H. Spolskv, AV. Duncan, C. AVebster, A. AVilliains, and C. F. AViird. The secretary of (he Empire Club wrote t'ojnform the ,committee that the game at Petono lust Saturday had had tu be called off owing to the non-appear-ance of tho referee. The club asked for permission to play the game in town on .Saturday next. The letter was "received." and Ihe committee decided that the match might be played at tho end of the season if necessary. AVadestown submitted a protest' based ■on an allegation that Institute Fourth A had played a boy which was over age. Tho matter was referred to the Boys' Sub-committee for investigation. The Boys' Sub-committee reported that certain senior players had been interfering with junior games by.practising goalkicking at the posts. The meeting decided to luko repressive measures. The treasurer reported that the takings at the Canterbury-Wellington match on Tuesday had been ,CSG is. Of this amount .£45 9s. whs the share of the association. FIXTURES AND GROUNDS.
