Messrs. Dalgetv aud. Companv, Limited, 'Palmerstou' ftorth, report holding their monthly siile of hides, and tallow 'on May 29. All hides suitable • for the-tun-niiTs' requirements were selected at'the Government scheduled' rates, unci the remainder submitted to miction. Hie latter met. with, keen competition and sold at an advance of from Id. to 3d. per lb. Cnlf-skins also advanced, about 3d. per lb. on last sale rates.
