A thanksgiving mid commemoration service for musicians who have fallen in the war was held at Southwavk Cathedral recently, and was attended by a largo number of professional musicians and others. The Bishop of Kensington paid a tribute to the brave musicians who had given their lives for their country, and a roll of honur was read by Sir Alexander Mackenzie. It is stated that the Natal Provincial Council intends to purchase land in Northern Natal and Zululand to provide 105 allotments of from 100 to 700 acrcs each fov the settlement of returned eoldiqrs. . * TEETH LIICE MOTHER NATURE'S. .
