PEACE CELEBRATIONS

THE BRITISH PROGRAMME. (Roc. May 29, 8 p.m.) London, May 17 (delayed). The peace celebrations on August 3 include national services of thanksgiving in Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbnv, and St. Paul's. Every church in the Empire will offer special prayers. On August 4 a chain of bonfires will be lit from end to end of Britain, including thirty thousand war (lares, which will be visible for many miles, and will last for ten minutes. On August 5 there will be military and naval pageants, and a merchant shipping pageant in tho Thames-"The Times.'
