AT LEAST 94' FIANCEES. Paris, May 17 (delayed). . Apart from the six small boxes of charred bones the police have discovered no substantial clues as to the disappearance of the twelve of Landru's fiancees. It appears that Landru hart at least ninety-four, of whom over seventy are still alive. The police discovered trunks full of love letters, together with an address book; in which Landru had indexed his sweethearts with side-notes as lo their characteristics.—Aus.-N.Z.' Cabb Assn. (Rec. May 29, 10.50 p.m.) Paris, May 28. Landru was two hours under examination. He admitted that' eleven women had been his lovers, and added: "I don't know where they aru gone."
