(By Telegraph—Prees Association.) Dunedin, May 28. At Burnside 230 fat cattle were yarded, including several pens of prime show bullocks, which realised to ,431 ss. Prime to medium sorts wßre firm at late rates. Prime, to .£22; medium to good, ,£ls to £17 10s!; lighter, <£13 to jeii lfls.; best cows and heifers, JJI3 10s. to =£15; medium to good,, ill 10s. to .£l2 ills.; others, JMt Ms.'upwards. The fat sheep penned numbered 35C9, chiefly of medium quulily. A.number*of pens of extra prime show sheep met with keen competition. Prime quality were firmer to the extent of Is. 6d. to 25.. 6d. per" head,, while medium and inferior realised lute rates. Prime wethers, 425. to 495'.; extra, Jjs. to 675. Gd.; medium to good, 30s. to 355.; best owes, 345. to 395.; extra prime, 50s. 3d. to 595.; medium to. good, 245. to 275.; others, 203. upwards. There were 1471 lambs penned. Competition was keen, prices showing an increase on late values. • Extra prime '■heavy, suitable for show purposes, sold up- to 559. A. medium yarding ,of fat pigs and a email entry of stores were cleared at late rates.
