' , MONTHLY MEETING. Messrs. L. .0. H. Tripp (chairman), James M'lntosh, A. Macintosh, John Hutcheson, D. M'Laren, C. A. Ewen, A. E. Atkinson, J. Lewis, and Lieut.-Colonel J. G. Hughes wero present at a meeting of tho executive of the War Relief Afi?ooiation, held yesterday afternoon. The secretary submitted a financial statement, which showed that the receipts and payments account for April stood as follow:—War fund account, i2IG 2s. IOd.; imprest account, ,£731 16s. 7d. The amount invested was £10.m 14s. sd. The totnl funds of the association amounted to ..£71,558. 13j.. lOd. The expenditure for April was JJ7BB. 9s. 7d.; and tho income Oa. 9d.' . '. Accounts amounting , to ,£146 18s. Cd. were passed for payment,
