DISLOYALISTS

CONDEMNED BY HON. 1 W. .D. S. MACDONALU. , Strong condemnation of the action of disloyalists'' .in the .Dominion was oxpressed by the Hoii.' AV. D. S.'MacDonnld, Minister of Agi'ieulliire, in-the course of his speech' "rit the dinner to. the delegates to the Wellington' Provincial l'arrucrs' Union -Conference last night. n "Soon there will'be a general election, said Mr. MacDonnld. "I don'l care whether a man is' Labour, Liberal, or heform—l'don't caro so' lpng as he is a true, stout, and loyal Britisher. There has been an insidious mi! tempt to

secure power by certain sedition-mongers in this country, men who never lifted a hand to help to win the war, men who didn't care twopence for this country, who did everything they possibly could to prevent the men of this country going to the front. I want to say that during the coming year, whenever the election takes place, that the disloyal man, the sedition-monger, the _ man with a biased brain, prejudiced mind, and ! poisoned tongue, and the disloyalist should have no hearing in this country.'' (Loud applause and chee-s.) The flower of a. whole generation of men had been poured into the furnace of war from all over the British Empire, as well n<s from New Zealand, and tficy did not want the work of those boys' who were sleeping their last sleep on "foreign soil, those who had given a full meas-ire of devotion for King, cotmtjy, and liberty with their lives, to be deprecated by any sedition-monger who eamu from any other country. * 'If any man thinks another country better tlian his own," the Minister continued, "the sooner we see him off the coast the better—ami you don't want to wish him 'God-speed.' (Laughter and applause.) That, is how I feel.-"
