MEETING OF MANAGEMENT COM- ■ - MITTEE. The Management Committee of the' Wellington Rugby Football Union met last -evening. Mr. W. P. Hornjg presided. Other delegates- present wero Messrs. A. J. Griffiths, E. H. Ward, IJ. Jackson. J. N. Millard, J. Lundon, E. Perry, W. W. Cook, 11. Buck, and T. H. Jones fhon. secretary). A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd., and Levin and Co., Ltd., applied for the use oi Kelburn Park at 3 p.m. to-day, for an intoi-finn game.—The meeting decided to oiVer a ground at Athletic Park instead. .A "curtain-raiser" to be played between Government Life Insurance and the Public Trust Office at Athletic Park on Juno 3 was arranged. , The Pol'irua Club's application for affiliation was granted. Mr. Cook was appointed to represent the union at a meeting to b'e hold* by the Reserves Committee of the City Council for the purpose of discussing ground fees. The Inspector of Police--promised that the vForce, though under its normal strength, would provide as many men as poasiblo for the maintenance. of order during play on Athletic Park. The promise was mado in reply to a request for the services of at least six policemen each Saturday.—The meeting decided to return thanks to the inspector.
Tho meeting agreed to a rcuuest from the. Tarauaki Union for a match to be played at Hawera on July 2.—lt was decided that the arrangement should lie conditional upon Taranaki agreeing to l>lay a TC-tunv matoh nt Wellington oa September 1. The following senior matches were fixed for Saturday, Juno 7:—Athletic v. Wellington, nt Duppa Street; Petolio v. Oriental, at Athletic Park No. 1; Selwyn v.
