The Supreme Court -sitcings opened today, Mr. Justice Chapuian presiding. Eight criminal charges against seven persons wero ..set down for. trial., Percy Thomaiison pleaded guiity to breaking and entering. Prisoner is a youth, 20 years of age, already under ii term of probation. l Ho was ordered to come up for sentence at tho' next hitting of the Supreme Court. John Suain pleaded guiity to three charges ,of lorgery unci uttering valueless cheques at Taihape. He was • also up for sentence for a similar offence. He was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment.
