KING'S THEATRE. "The Death Dance/' which is proving a highly popular featuro> at tho King's Theatre, is one of Alice Brady's best productions. It is a dramatic story dealing with society, cabarets, and the stage. Alice Brady blossoms out as a dancer in a cabaret, and performs a thrilling Spanish dance with her partner. Tho story the dance tolls is the medium for the scheme of revenge of her partner, who is insanely jealous. The King's grand orchestra deserves special mention. Tito music is particularly good, and is frequently applauded. The supports include the final episode of "The Scarlet Runner'' and other excellent items. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. Old Bill. Alf, aJid Bert are still causing a lot of laughter in "The Better 'Ole." which is being screened twice daily at Everybody's Theatre. The play is bj Captain Bruce Bairnsfather, well known for his humorous sketches drawn out of the ..tragedies of war, At the commcnce. iment of tho picture Mr. Mcatcs sings "Up. Prom Somerset." The orchestra Is exceptionally good, _ getting some _ novel musical effects during the screening ol tho picture. The supporting prosraram# is verv fine, and includes the thirteenth episode of "The House of Hate" and the latest Gazette. EMPRESS THEATRE. "The Sorrows of Satnn," a dramatisation of Marie Corelli's famons novel, is th« attraction this week at the Empress Theatre. Miss Gladys Cooper pnrtravs the leading role, that of Lady Sybil Elton, and she gives most realistic presentntion of the role of tho young society girl who is sold to tho biddor of a price of five millions. Tho staging i? on a par with tho best shown, and tho film can be classed as the best English production. Several interesting films are shown in support. In addition -Mr. MotTin adds to the enjoyment of the programme br his spirited rendering of "The Bells of iWe."
