Offioial.—Speaking at the jubilee meeting of the Eoyal Colinial Institute, Mr, Massoy paid a high tribute to tho loyalty nnd patriotism of tho Maoris and kindred races throughout the Pacific Islands. He eaidthe natives reforred to had proved by their response to the Empire's call and their willingness to make sacrifices that they could be trusted in any emergency, and that tliere were no more loyal subjects of the King in any part of the British Dominions.—Aus.-N.Z.
