SCHEME TOR IMPROVEMENT.

The Whakaliuie County Council yesterday adopted a scheme for an ,£80,00(1 loan to put the county roads into nTst-class ordef, and probably tarring tho Wlmka-Uno-Tahratua and tho hakatane-Awa-keri roads. The schomc is to be submitted to a meeting of ratepayers, and if favoured by the ratepayers will bo submit tod to it, poll. Tho county chair--laa.lv is to ask tho Government for n subsidy on the loan.
