Great crowds watched a procession of returned soldiers, headed by men from the warships which arrived yesterday, to the Town Hall, whore a solemn eummemoralivfl eevvico was held. The CiovcrnorGeneral presented medals which Inul been won to a large number of soldiers. Tim wtriuus speeches eulogised the deeds of the Australians and New Zeiilanders on Gallipoli.—Press Assn
