There was a sharp recovery in the prices of fat lambs and fat sheep, equal to 2s. Gd. to 33. ill the cose ol' the former, and 2s. (id. to 3s. 6(1. in the case of the latter. Storo sheep - showed a little improvement. Fat cattle were without change 'in .values, and there were only a few pons cf stores offered. Dairy cows .-were' in very keen demand, and pigs of all classes were easier. Store sheep: Two-tooth ewes, 20s. 7d. to 255.; ewe lambs, Ms. to 19s. 9d.; wether lambs, 9s. to 18s.; mixed-sex lambs, Bs. 3d. to 17s. 9d. Fat lambs: Extra prime lambs, to 3:«.; prime lambs, 275. Cd. to 315.; medium lambs, 20s. to 275.; lighter lambs, 16s. to 21s. Gd. 'Fat sheep: Extra prime wethers, to 41s. Gd.; prime wethers, 335. Gd. to 40.?.; medium wethers, 29.=.
