FRESH APPEAL BY NEW ZEALANDERS. (Rec. 21, 9.5 p.m.) . Sydney, May 21. Tho stranded New Zealanders' committee has cabled Sir James Allen that the development'of the shipping trouble in Sydney makes the repatriation of the New Zealanders forthwith imperative, and urging him to arrange that tho Makura, sailing oil May 22, shall carry passengers: tho Government to compensate the Union Company, if necessary, for possible dolay in quarantine, or some other vessel in Wellington. Harbour could be utilised for quarantine purposes.— Press Assn.
