MOORE ANNIVERSARY. A large number of entries have been received for the competitions in connection with tho Thomas Moore annual festival. Nine choirs will compete, and there will also bo numerous solo and elocutionary items. The competitions will commence at 10 o'clock next Saturday morning, and the finals will be decided in the evening. Mr. Frank J. Oakes' will adjudicate on tho musical items, and Mr. E. B. >L,' Reade will act as supervisor. The Moore concert on Wednesday, May 28, should he an excellent one, Every item will 'bo selected l.i om Moore's works, and the musical public are promised an excellent entertainment.
