INCOME TAX
Sir,—The income tax exemption still' remains at .<£3oo. Would it not be nil act of justice and ivisdom for the Finance Minister to at ones raise the exemption to .MOO? Will anyone dispute (he fact that a person'earning ,£4OO today is really worse off financially thai) a person earning ,£3OO before the war? The l'aci is indisputable, and tho finance Sinister should recognise .it by at once taking legislative measures to raise tho exemption to JMOO—I aui, etc., - ' JUSTICE. I May 15.
