Hoban said he could not understand why the liquor vote in Nov Zealand s(i strongly favoured continuance, but it had been mentioned that a cable message was received by the New Zealand Alliance stating that the voto of one of the military camps in England had been manipulated—Press Assn. [The contents of the above message were reforred to the Rev. E. S. Gray, president of the New Zealand Alliance. Mr. Gray said (lie New jSealand Alliance has ho cablegram to that effect, and if Mr. Ilobau has a cablo message or knowledge of such information it is not knowledge that came from the New Zealand Alliance.! >
