CASES NOTIFIED IN THE DOMINION. A return received by the Minister ol Public Health shows that from May 12 to 15. the c&ses .of influenza notified in the Dominion numbered forty, of which livo were severe. The severe eases were; 1 pneumonic at Matamata, Auckland district; 1 at Waijiawa, I Wellington district; 2 pneumonic and 1 severe ill Otago. According .to districts the total cases wero; Auckland, 9; Wellington, 13; Canterbury, 12; Otago, G. , THE DEATH BOLL IN NEW SOUTH WALES. Sydney, May 19. Eolurns to May It show that: tliera were 1673 deaths from influenza' in New South Wales, and 201G in Victoria. The week's influenza cases show a further decrease. Forty-one deaths were reported, and 358 cases.—Press Assn. 1 Brisbane, May 19. There have been 181'J influenza eases to date.—Press Assn.
