CONSCIENTIOUS ,OBJECTOR FINED. London, May 9 (delayed). Yates, a conscientious objector, has been fined ,£SO at Liverpool, or two months' imprisonment, for distributing leaflets addressed to British sailors, inciting them to revolution. The police found in Yates's house a quantity of "teraturo written by Lenin and Trotsky. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. RUSSIANS ROUNDED UP. London, May 9 (delayed). Tho "Daily Express" states that Scot land Yawl has learned of a remarkablo plot to smuggle Russians into England, including many who were formerly resident hero and who wero given (ho alternative of onlisting with tho British forces or fighting for Iverensky. After the latter's defeat the troops threw down their amis and deserted. Many of Iheso and hundreds of others reached Scandinavian ports, where they secured passports to England.
