Sir,—lf you can convince>the Governine,nt and more particularly the Finance Minister of tlie -necessity for extending the children's allowance exemption to apply to super and war income tax aa . well as ordinary income tax you will be - doing a service to" a deserving section of the community. If any person can produce any reasons why the children's allowance 6hould be deducted' from ordinary income tax but not bo deducted from super and war tax I think he will be reckoned a mightly clever logician.— I am, etc., PATERFAMILIAS.
