May 10, the S.S. nnd A. . steamer Waimana sailed from tho United Kingdom for New Zealand. The vessel, which has on board 1(00 troops, is due at Auckland on June 26. KARAMEA AND KUMARA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's Karamea. will leave the United Kingdom in June for Auckland and Wellington, and will be followed by the Kumara in June or July,' for ports not decided upon. NEW.-'STEAMER FOR SHAW-SAVILL. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company has bought a new steamer in England, and renamed it Otira. The vcsselis one of. the G class of standardised , ships. The Otira is to load thin month at New York for Australian and New Zealand ports, uuder the auspices of the A. oud A. Line. BHAMO, VIA SUEZ. The Bhnmo arrived at Oaniaru yesterday'morning from Dunedin for loading. After taking in the allotment for that district, she will come on to Wellington, arriving hero on May 24 or 25. Owing to the bad condition of the Wairoa bar, Johnston and Co. state that they will receive no cargw for Wairoa until further notice.. • ' The Hippie, not , duo back at Wellington before Wednesday from Napier, will load for Napier and Akitio only next week. The Blackball Coal Compiiny's Ngakuta left Kaipara yesterday with timber for Lyttelton, where she is due to-morrow. Tho Ngatoro will return to the Orey to-day, where sho will load for Wellington. The Komath. arrived early yesterday from tho Coast, and will return to Westport on Saturday afternoon.
