LONDON TO BOURNEMOUTH IN SO MINUTES. Tor the first time newspapers wore carried recently from London by aeroplane for distribution to tho public. A Nieuport Niglithawk 320 h.p. neroplone was piloted by Mr. Leslie Tait-Cox to Bournemouth and arrived u.t 7.15 a.m., threequarters of an hour before tho train carrying tho London papers. The aeroplano carried a special late edition of the "T)ai]y Mail," and tho first person to receive a copy of tho paper was tho Mayor. The machine travelled at a speed of. ICO miles an hour. Tho distanco from London to Bournemouth as tho crow fliee is 00 miles, but tho pilot encountered fog and made a circuit out to sea before landing. Tho limo taken for the journey was 50 miuutes, as against 2J hours by train.
