DEPARTING MUNITION WORKERS
0 ADDRESSED BY FEDERAL DEFENCE MINISTER. (Rec. May 12,' 5.5 p.m.) . London', May 6 (delayed). Senator Pearco addressed the munition workers departing for the Commonwealth. Ho said ho appreciated that they had "dono their bit," although they wore mostly too old or unfit to fight. He had received a letter from the Ministry of Munitions, deeply appreciative of the Australians' work. They would find Australia progressing at every opportunity, and resuming its former occupations. There were wives going to a new country, and would find it a good home, with heller prospects, especially for children, than in the older lands.
