There is no confirmation of the report of the Rumanian entry into the suburbs of Budapest. On the contrary, a Hungarian official wireless message claims:— "We hold the enemy at many points, and states that the line of the river Theiss is irmly in Hungarian hands. Belakun declares that he has no intention of surrendering to the Entente's demands, and will defend Budapest to the last, making a stand on the Theiss lino—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. It admits withdrawals for the purpose of reorganisation.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SENSATIONAL COUP AT VIENNA EX-OFETCEKS SEIZE BOLSHEVIK FUNDS. Vienna, May 6 (delayed). Ex-officers opposed to Bolshevism carried out a sensational coup on Friday by seizing the Hungarian Legation in Vienna, and taking the occupants prisoner. They seized tho J26250 which was intended for Bolshevik propaganda in Vienna, or more probably was intended to enable the Bolshevik leaders to retire in opulence when they were compelled to flee from Budapest.—Aus.-N.Z.
