Tho Canterbury Trades and Labour Council has decided to hand on to the Labour Kepresentation Committee the following nominations of candidates tor Christchnrch seats at tho general election :-A von, Mr. D. G. Sullivan; Chris - church North, Mr. F. R. Cooke; Chris - church Hast, Mr. H. T. Armstrong; I,ytteton, Mr. J. M'Conib', M.l*. The unions ballot for tho final selection of candidates for these scats will take place shortly.
