. __ RESULTS OF SATURDAY'S GAMES. The' Association football matches played on Saturday resulted as under: Senior. V Institute 9, Brooklyn 0. The game had not long been in progress when Harris scored a somewhat lucky goal for Institute, which was followed shortly after by a beautifullyheaded ' goal by Horston, the result of combined forward play. From then on to half-time Institute continued to press, •Halley and Harris scoring one goal each. The ieeond half proved a repetition of the first, Institute being superior in every department of the gamo. Further goals were scored by M'Arthur (2), Porter, Smith, and Houston; The best players for Brooklyn were Galloway (inside-right), Thonias (centre-half), pnd Bing (left-half). Institute have a young team, but they are very fast and show excellent footwork. As a team they may prove' a stumbling block to some of tho more experienced tennis. , • Marist 1, Petone 1.
