BROUGHT UP TO AUSTRALIAN STANDARD. (Roc. May 11, 5.5 p.m.), - London, May 9. The Admiralty lius increased the pay and pensions of petty oliicers, non-coni-missioned officers, ami men of the Koyiil ■Navy and Royal Murines, 'bringing the pay up to the Australian Niivy standard. The increases will cost j;2,SiO,(iC{l annually,. The total cost will be JE5.W7,000 annually, and eventually it will be 4.'G,1.18,000,-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
