AGGRIEVED PASSENGERS,

The general manager of the Union Company, replying to the protest by the passengers booked by the llakiira to Sydney against tho delayed completion of their voyage, expressed regret that it has been impossible to provide earlier 1 transhipment owing to complicationscaused hy influenza and the wntcrs'iders* refusal to work vessels. Everything nossible would be done to overcome the difficulty. A meeting of passengers this morning expressed tlio opinion that tlm. explanation was inadequate, and resolved that unless something more satisfactory were forthcoming- drastic action would bo taken.' It was further resolved to interview the local manager of the company in regard to accommodation.
