Prices, wcro de•oidedly easy, throughout, in sympathy with 'late market reports, but vendors were prepared to meet,' the drop, and about, 1200 head, were disposed of-out of the total entry. •■ Buyers wero present from Kangitikoi,'Wnuganui, Manawatu, Hawke s Bay, and Wairarapa, the bulk of the purchases being Bccured.by Manawatu buyers. Some Bplondid lines of, Hereford Shorthorn.and Polled Angus two-year off steers, about.2oo in number, sold on account of Mr. A. O.,Herbert, of Pongoroa, at from £10 4s. 6d. to £10 r lss. aiieso cattlo were considered good buying by those present.
