P. to visit the United States in order to receive instruction in irrigation prior to. settling down, on irrigation areas in Australia. Mr. Elwood .Mead, an American irrigation engineer, formerly of Victoria, is supervising tho scheme. The course extends-for from six to twelve months. A party of twenty-five is visiting Denmark in order to study the latest developments in dairying—Aus.-N.Z.'Cable Assn.
