At Addington Market there was a very large entry of fat sheep and more cattle wero offered, but the yardings in the other departments were generally smaller than the previous week's. There was rather a'better tone in the store sheep market, and wethers especially sold better. . Fat lambs were a little firmer, but fat cattle, which, were mostly of medium quality, were much easier, though anything really prime sold well up to late rates. The fat sheep market opened at about tho. previous :week's prices,-. but sooh'oased' off and became irregular, and towards the end a number of lots ivero; passed in. Prices woro down from Is. to'; 2s. per head, and in some cases more. 'There was-a poor sale for, store cattle, and .dealers-came down in consequence of a liehvy supply, and tho : cheaper beef market.. Fat.pigs sold well,,but stores were, slow of sale. . ' ,'•■
