At an inquest regarding tlie death' ol George M'Kcnt, who was found dead at Wailakere on Monday \vith a gunshot wound in the head, evidence was given that deceased sull'ercd from a severe attack of influenza about Christmas, and never thoroughly recovered. A verdict was returned that deceased died ns the result of a Run-shot wound in tho head, seif-infliotert while in a state of mental depression.
