THE MEDICAL CORPS
ORGANISED.ON PERMANENT BASIS; Regulations governing the New Zealand Aruiv Medical Department, lis part of the,. Permanent Staff of ■ the Defence Forces, have been issued. The Directing Staff is to consist of a Director of Medical Services anVl four Assistant Directors of Medical Services, attached to the district commands. Other officers may bo appointed as required. Tho Medical Department and the New Zealand .Army Medical Corps will be controlled by the Director of Medical Services. Candidates for enrolment in, the Medical Corps must be between -the ages of nineteen and forty-six years.' Preference w"l be given to men who possess qualifications as chemists, nurses, operating attendants, or masseurs. Pay and allowances will be in accordance with regulations already issued.
