v i WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD i!i LECTION. TO THE ELECTORS. . I A DIES AND GENTLEMEN- ' I have the honour to invite you.r support in my candidature for re-election to the Harbour Board. During the ten years I have held a 'seat on the Board it has been my cou-_ stant endeavour to assist in making the Port of Wellington second to none on this side of the line. "PROGRESS ON SOUND PRINCIPLES' AND SAFE LINES" is .tho Policy for inc. ! I am a firm believer in equipping our Port with a Floating Dock in tho near future. Inquiries are to be immediately instituted as to the cost of a suitable Dock. Tho want of this is a serious handicap to Wellington. At the present time we have a disabled steamer in port, and permanent repairs cannot bs cfFected in the- absencp of suitable (locking facilities. Tho port will continue to bo placed at ji disadvantage until this want is supplied. My interests aro bound up in Wellington, and no cii'ort will bo spared by mo to keep the City and Port abreast of tho times. Hoping io receive at the Poll a renewal of the confidence you have reposed in me. Yours sincerely, WILLIAM QBLE.
