. A STATEMENT .DENIED. London, April 25. A meeting of London butchers protested against allocation of Manchurian, South African, and Brazilian beef for the metropolis, while the authorities were sending Australian and New Zealand meat tp the Germanic Powers. The statement that Australian and New Zealand beef and lamb is being sent to Germany is officially denied.—Aus.-N.i. Cable Assn.
