At present her movements out of Wellington aro uncertain, but it is probable that she will return to Sydney by way of Auckland. ATHESIO FOR.. LONDON. Messrs. Levin and Co. advise that the departure of the Athenic for London has been postponed until Wednesday at daybreak. Passengers are to embark on Tuesday evening. Heavy baggage must bo alongside the steamer not later than noon to-morrow. AJANA DELAYED. Bad weather, which last week prevailed on the West Coast of tho North Island, has been tho means of interfering considerably with the loading of the FederalShire chartered steamer Ajana at Wanganui. It is hoped that the vessel -will bo here on Wednesday to complete receiving for Liverpool. WHAKATANE FROM NEW YOEK. Tlio Norwegian barque Tilnnia will sail from this port to-morrow direct for Boston.
The harbour ferry steamer Cobar will probably go on the slip to-morrow. During his recent visit to Duncdiu, Mr. ■\V, T. Young, general secretary of tho Seamen's Union, arranged with tho Union Company to liave alterations carried out to tho men's quarters on tho following vessels;—Waihora, Kamona, Navua, Eosainond Komata, Koltiri, Kaituna, Eakanoa, Ka-kapo, Kahika, Whaiigape, and YVahine, (on her arrival from Europe), These vcbsels make tho total Union Company steamers which have been altered, or are yet to be altered, forty-three. Other shipping companies, on boing approached, also agreed to have alterations carried out.
