I : London, "April 25. The. projected Antarctic expedition under the leadership "of Cope will consist of fifty-eight men. These will divide into three parties. Twenty-two will remain at New Harbour, and the eecond snd third parties on- Scott Island, Tfhich ia within the Antarctic Circle, a-nd on Ross Island, forming the gateway to the lioss Sea. After. lauding these parties the Terra Nova will return to- Wellington to loa'i provisions sufficient for four years. She will leave Wellington in the summer of,: 1921, and will visit the three parties. After that the Terra Nova will circumnavigate the Southern Continent, and attempt to reach Cape (name unstated), wid in flie winter of 1922 will proceed along the known coastlines. In the following siinimer the ship will attempt to visit Coats Land, where She may ljo compelled to winter instead of at tlie South Shetlands, and not attempt to cross the Weddell Sea, Constant wireless communication will be maintained with the .Falkland Islands.—Aus.-N.si.
