MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Messrs. R. D. Hanlon and J. PI Sha'nd presided over yesterday's sitting of -sthe Magistrate's Court. A month's imprisonment ■ was imposed on James Mullins, who was convicted on a charge of stealing a carpenter's saw and braco from tho premises of the Wellington Cabinet Company, in Adelaide Road. Charges of 6towing away on tho inter, colonial steamer Moeraki. . preferred against Roland Breeze and Kenneth Austin, were withdrawn on the application of the police. William Gordon was sentenced to threo months' imprisonment on a charge of indecency. For drunkenness Henry Lawson Walker was fined 4fls., and two first offenders were fined Ift?.
