The Wairarapa Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., stock department, report having held tlieir weekly salo at Masterton oil April 22, when they offered a big yarding of sheep to a fair attendance of buyors. Prices were on a par with late sales. A total clearance was made with the exception of one pen at the following prlceß:—Five-year ewes, in lamb to Lincoln rams, 12s. 3d.; four-year do., 135.; six-tooth-.d0., 12a. 4d.; -two and .four-tooth do., 15s. 4d.mixed aged ewes in larilb, ,9b.. to- 10s. Id.; ewe lambs, 9s. sd. to 9s. 7d.; wether lambs, 10s. 2d. to 10b. 6d.; m.s. lambs, 125.; eull lambs. ss. lid. to 7s. 4d.j Lincoln ewe lambs, 225.; two-tooth wethers, Ms. to 295. 6d.; smnll do., 14s. Id.; fat ewes, 325. 7d.; fat lambs, 22b. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerstoil North,, report having held their fortnightly Bale at Taihape on April 23. when a fair yarding of Bhecp and cattle came forward. AlPstock were dull,of sale, and prices showed a marked decrease, there being practically no demand. Quotations: Mixed aged owes, 10b. 6d. to 145.; mixed two-tooths, 15s. id.; small.two-tooths, 13s. 6d.; fat and'forward ewes, 255. 4d.; cull mixed lambs, 2s. lid.; .two-tooth empty eives (very small), ss. JBd. to 9s. Cattle: Tweutj'-month steers, ~£S Is., £3 165., to £5; twenty-month heifers,- £3 2b. to £4 Bs.
