WELLINGTON DISTRICT FIGURES FOit LAST MONTH. ' The Health inspector for Hie Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board reported yesterday that 4!) cases of infectious diseases had, during the month ended 011 April 12, occurrcd in the district controlled by the board. The cases were: Scarlet fever, two; diphtheria, 17; tuberculosis, ■ seven; influenza, 22; measles, one. There were 110 cases of cerebro-spiiial meningitis. The infectious-, diseases occurred as follows Wellington, one scarlet fover, 13 diphtheria, 12 influenza, sis tuberculosis; Petone, three influenza; Lower Hutt, one influenza; Hutt County, one diphtheria, two influenza; Seatomi, cue diphtheria; Kaiwarra, three influenza; Johnsonvilie, one influenza; Makava or Johnsonville, one scarlet fever, two diphtheria, one tuberculosis.
