There ■was little or no change in tho prices of fat stock, and exporters took nil the lambs and sheep butchers did not require, and so kopt the market steady. There was a poor demand for store sheep, especially for inferior eoits. The Chnt- ; ham Islands were well represented in both the fat and store sheep sections, and fat wethers from there brought good prices. The store eattlo pens were almost empty. Pigs nipt with a moderate demand. Store Shoep—Two-tooth ewee, 21s. 3d. to 31s, Gd.; four and six-tooth ewes, 18s. 6d. to 225. 7d.; two-tooth wethers, 17s. ■Id; to 21s.
