GREEN ISLAND MINERS

The Grtt* Island miners held n meeting to-day, Mr. O'l'onrke, president of the ■Federation of Lnbour, being present. It was decided to do nothing until the conference with the employers had been held. It is expected the conference will tnko placo shortly.
The liev. J. II- Twitchell, who was known everywhere 11s "Mark Twain's Minister," has died at the ago of eighty. S[r. Twilchell was one of Mark Twain's most intimate friends, and accompanied him on ,the journey which is described in "Innocents Abroad." He officiated at. Mark Twain's funeral servico in 1910,
